Yukon
The Yukon Nominee Program (YNP) is intended to attract employees and entrepreneurs from all over the globe who possess the necessary skills, resources, and drive to help this "larger-than-life" region grow economically.
Yukon is the smallest of Canada's three territory, while having the largest metropolis. Whitehorse, the territory's capital, is a distinctive metropolitan center with readily accessible services and solid infrastructure. While rural and tiny in population — roughly 25,000 – Whitehorse has a small-town atmosphere while benefiting from recent improvements in public services and corporate enterprises.
The PNP of the Northwest Territories Operates in Five Streams:
1- Express Entry
To qualify for this type of immigration, you must:
• Adhere to the requirements of one of the federal government's three economic immigration programs;
• Complete the Express Entry online application to get a profile number and, if necessary, a Job Seeker Validation Code;
• Have adequate settlement money upon arrival in Canada to sustain oneself and any accompanying family members;
• Possess a legitimate employment offer from a qualified Yukon company for permanent, full-time work.
• Possess a sincere desire to live and work in Yukon
2- Skilled Worker Program
To qualify for this type of immigration, you must meet the following requirements:
• Meet the criteria for one of the federal government's three economic immigration programs;
• Complete the Express Entry online application form to get a profile number and, if appropriate, a Job Seeker Validation Code.
• Possess adequate settlement money upon arrival in Canada to maintain oneself and any accompanying family members;
• Possess a valid employment offer from a Yukon-eligible company for permanent, full-time work
• Possess a sincere desire to reside and work in Yukon
3-Yukon Critical Impact Worker Category
The Yukon Critical Impact Worker Category recruits applicants for occupations with a National Occupational Classification (NOC) skill level of C or D.
Requirements
• A minimum of six months of closely related work experience in the job for which the nomination is being made.
• Education and work experience that meet all employment qualifications as defined by the National Occupational Classification. Minimum completion of high school.
• Candidates must have the following minimal language abilities in hearing, speaking, reading, and writing for skill levels 0 and A, depending on the exam used:
• Level 4 CELPIP (English)
• Level 4 IELTS (English)
• Level 3 TEF (English)
4-Yukon Community Pilot Program
One of the prerequisites for becoming a permanent resident under the YPNP is that you work at least 30 hours per week in a profession. The Yukon Community Pilot programme permits applicants who have been nominated by the Yukon government to perform two or three occupations concurrently to achieve that criteria. Jobs must be permanent (non-seasonal) in one of the following communities:
• Whitehorse
• Watson Lake
• Dawson City
• Carmacks
• Carcross
• Haines Junction
