International Experience Canada (IEC) is a Government of Canada initiative that provides opportunities for 18-35 year-old travellers from around 33 designated countries to work in Canada.
                          Working Vacation
                          Participants in the Working Holiday category may be eligible for a one- to two-year open work visa. Participants with open work permits may work for nearly any company in Canada. Certain nations' nationals may be permitted to stay in Canada for a period more or less than one year.
                          Individuals who qualify for the Working Holiday category include those who:
                          •	do not have a job offer; 
                          •	wish to work for many employers in Canada; 
                          •	wish to work in multiple locations; 
                          •	wish to earn more money in order to travel.
                          Promising Young Professionals
                          Citizens of participating nations can earn significant international experience by working for a Canadian firm under the Young Professionals category. If granted, applicants in this category obtain an employer-specific work visa.
                          Individuals who fall within this group include those who:
                          •	possess a legitimate employment offer in Canada for a salaried position that helps to their professional growth; 
                          •	want to remain with the same employer throughout their stay in Canada.
